Ladina Heimgartner

Ladina Heimgartner (*1980) has been a member of the Group Executive Board of Ringier AG since February 2020. As Head Media, she is responsible for Ringier's media business at the group level and also serves as CEO of Ringier Media Switzerland. Previously, she was CEO of the Blick Group and directly responsible for the Eastern European media markets of the Ringier Group. From February to September 2020, Ladina Heimgartner served as Head of Corporate Center at Ringier AG. Prior to that, she had been working for the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation SRG SSR since 2007 in various roles. She started as a radio editor, later becoming head of department and deputy editor-in-chief. In 2011, she established and led the Markets and Quality department at the SRG SSR headquarters. In August 2014, she became Director of the Rhaeto-Romanic business unit RTR and from October 2017, Deputy Director General of SRG SSR. Ladina Heimgartner studied German and Romansh (lic. phil. I) in Fribourg and also holds an EMBA in Leadership and Management. Ladina Heimgartner is president of the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers WAN-IFRA, a board member of the Swiss Media Association, a member of the board of directors at Mediapulse, a member of the Advisory Board of Lucerne Dialogue, and a member of the Board of Directors of the German Public Media Association of the Free Press.
