Thomas Passen (*1969) has been Managing Director of Ringier Advertising since October 2020. He has been a member of the Executive Board of Ringier Axel Springer Schweiz AG since 2019. Thomas Passen has held various positions at Ringier since 1997, including Head of the Blick Group and Head of the Magazine Readership and Advertising Market, most recently as Head of Sales and Marketing Switzerland at Ringier AG since 2013. After two years as an independent consultant in brand sales and content marketing/partnerships for Ringier and Ringier Axel Springer, he returned to Ringier AG as CRO (Chief Revenue Officer) on April 1, 2018. Thomas Passen is a trained typographer and has completed several management training courses, including Polygraphic Technician, Publishing Manager and the SKU Advanced Management Program. Thomas Passen is a member of various Swiss foundation boards and boards of directors.
